The one bummer about Mad Men

I'm addicted to the AMC show Mad Men. I didn't even know it existed until its third season when for Christmas one of my closest friends bought me Seasons 1 and 2 and informed me that I needed to watch the show. I didn't like it at first. In fact, I may have given up on it had it not been for my wife who gave it more of a shot. Now as we have entered the last season I'm sad to think this will be it.

But there is one major bummer about Mad Men's existence. Since it is set in the 60s I don't foresee another show like this set in the 60s anytime soon and I think something based on David Talbot's look at San Francisco during that period in Season of the Witch: Enchantment, Terror and Deliverance in the City of Love  would make amazing TV. AMC, if you're looking for a spin-off give this some consideration. The West Coast was a wild place.
